Caring for someone with Dementia? 5 videos that can help.

Right now, 1 in 5 families is dealing with dementia.  In 10 to 15 years from now, 1 in 2 families (every other one) will be dealing with this issue.  Whether it affects us directly or indirectly it makes sense for all of us to become better equipped to deal with this coming tsunami.

Teepa Snow is an amazing woman with whom I’ve had the pleasure to train.  She’s an expert in the field of dementia.  In this series of videos, she shares her insights and strategies on making visits valuable.  I hope that some of her wisdom might be useful for those of you spending time this holiday season with a family member or loved one suffering from dementia.
